Treyarch releases iPhone app for Call of Duty: World at War
BY Raphael Cua Aug. 4th, 2009 More on:

Because Activision isn’t satisfied with consuming your time at home with Call of Duty: World at War, they want you to obsess over the game on the go as well. Launching today on iTunes, the Call of Duty: World at War Companion is an iPhone app that lets players remotely access news, updates, and stats for the game. Players with registered accounts on CoDWaW.com can track stats, monitor friends’ in-game progress (stalking), and get the latest news all through the iPhone. With 1.75 million registered accounts, that’s a lot of cyberstalking to be had.

The best part is that the iPhone app is free to download, so if your wallet hurts after buying that third map pack later this week, the app will be a nice financial reprieve in satisfying your obsession with killing Nazi zombies.
