Bravo’s “Game Face” to show unfiltered gaming
BY Jason Townsend-Rogers Aug. 9th, 2009 More on:

Videogame television usually comprises one of three categories: coverage affecting the industry, reviews of games that will be available, or previews of games that are due for release. Out of these avenues, very little is dedicated to actual viewing of the games themselves.

‘Game Face,’ a show that is set to debut on Bravo, is aiming to change that.

The show bills itself as getting away from the people behind the products. Peter Einstein, the former boss of MTV bills this concept as “a fun, entertaining TV event that will appeal mostly to the casual gamer.”

Whether this show becomes successful or not remains to be seen; however, I would think that casual gamers would be more interested in what goes on behind the scenes rather than emphasizing the finished product.
