You’re making id Software angry. You wouldn’t like id Software when it’s angry. Or maybe you would, because Rage looks pretty sweet.
First day of QuakeCon 2009 gave everyone a special trailer treat: a nice glimpse into the story and gameplay of the upcoming title from id Software and EA. Of course, there’s some variant of the post-apocalypse and the big wigs of the surface give you jobs to do, mutants to kill, sweet guns to shoot, and dune buggies to drive. Looks like it’ll be Fallout 3 meets Red Dog: Superior Firepower, or Mad Max if you’re Dreamcast-impaired.
Rage should be out sometime next year, but there is no set date yet. Apparently, id Software has no qualms delaying doomsday.
