The fact that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves won’t have a single-player demo prior to its October release is disappointing, but this 4 minute clip of the single-player campaign makes that pill a little easier to swallow. Courtesy of 1up, the video showcases some of Uncharted 2’s impressive visuals. Marvel at the subtle details in the animation, the realistic rain effects, and the superb PlayStation 3 real-time renders of Nathan Drake’s infamous half-tuck. Be warned, though. While the video doesn’t give away too much story since most of the events are out of context, it does show off gameplay aspects and character dynamics that may upset those wanting a pure playing experience when the game comes out on Oct. 13.
