Todd Howard, executive director of Bethesda Softworks, gave a keynote at QuakeCon where he talked about Fallout 3, id Software, and took some questions. He didn’t reveal a lot of information about their upcoming projects, and said nothing of Fallout: New Vegas, but he did let one tid-bit out: there are no current plans for Elder Scrolls 5. He did say there is “always a chance” of an Elder Scrolls MMO however, which could very well be the “new Elder Scrolls title” that Bethesda’s publishing executive Paul Oughton said would arrive in 2010.
Howard also confirmed that Mothership Zeta was indeed the last of the Fallout 3 DLC.

NO ELDER SCROLLS 5, and to think that i’ve spent 6yrs following this company (BETHESDA) and admiring what they have done for rpg’s. what a waste of talent i mean really why bother making another elder scrolls its only been the back bone of the company and has it ever not been nominated game of the year. or maybe its because the gaming communities were so hard on it giving it 9.5 of 10. what ever their reason is im sure it must be good

No, no, no. MMO’s fail.
tes should never be an MMO, its a great RPG and not making a five would be devistating. I mean Fall out is fun and all but its no Elder scrolls.
Must have tes5 - non-mmo

Give it a few years, they’ll make another. Seriously.
