This is what a man’s shooter is like. Serious Sam does not bother with hiding behind corners or sneaking up on his opponents. That stuff is for pansies. Serious Sam is about two things: 1) running and 2) gunning.

What I’m trying to say here is that Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, which is a remake of 2001’s PC hit Serious Sam, is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PC this autumn. If you are sick of games with puzzles and/or learning curves, this one is clearly for you. Even if you already got the 2002 Xbox version of Serious Sam, which was actually the first two Serious Sam PC titles rolled into one, you will be tempted to download this new one thanks to the enhanced visuals pointed out in the game’s title. If you do, you will be able to enjoy action in its purest form. Try finding something wrong with that and Serious Sam will find something wrong with you.
