Despite what their names may conjure up in our minds, Spore Hero for the Wii and Spore Hero Arena for the DS will not be accompanied by plastic musical instrument peripherals, thankfully. EA will ship both games on October 6 for North America and October 9 internationally, meaning the world is less than two months away from being able to use Wii remotes to engage in sword fights with a fresh batch of phallic-shaped creatures. Sigmund Freud would have a field day with these games! Anyway, for those of us who aren’t up to speed yet on Spore Hero or Spore Hero Arena, Maxis gave us the low down on each game back in May.
