If you didn’t have a reason to get ridiculously and childishly excited over Starcraft II arriving early next year, then now you do. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the series, just replace any words you don’t understand in the following paragraph with “badass aliens” and you should be able to follow.

This is the latest CG eye-candy from Blizzard’s upcoming real-time strategy game. It’s got Zeratul, the iconic Dark Templar of the Protoss race speaking through gravel about what happened in the original story and how the Xel’Naga, the creators of the Protoss and Zerg, are coming back. Then he decides to brutally kill some Hydralisks with his trusty warp blade. And the cherry on top is a creepy, maniacally laughing entrance by Kerrigan, the Queen of Blades herself. Cut to logo and beginning giggling with anticipation.

One of the best parts of Blizzard’s games has always been the CG videos, and this one is no exception.
