Direct from GamesCom comes a new Uncharted 2: Among Thieves trailer and it’s looking like the they’re trying to convey a darker, more dramatic tone. Subdued voice overs. Epic, Hans Zimmer-esque music in the background. Slow motion action shots where our boy Nathan Drake is inches away from death in nearly every scene. Yes, it’s looking like Uncharted 2 is going to be darker, more dangerous and more intense than the first game. “Fortune favors the bold,” Nathan Drake claims in a voice over and bold is what Naughty Dog is aiming for in Uncharted 2. We’ll see if fortune favors them in October when the game is released, but if this trailer is anything to go by, Naughty Dog doesn’t have anything to worry about.
