So it turned out that Dark Void would become one of several games that were originally slated for Fall 2009, and then ultimately delayed into early 2010. Meaning we would have to wait until the new year to fly all willy-nilly with jetpacks. But we won’t wait too long, as Capcom announced today that Dark Void will ship in North America on January 12, 2010 and in Europe three days later. No doubt it’ll face some pretty stiff competition against other games that have sought refuge from the cramped holiday schedule, with the likes of MAG, Mass Effect 2, BioShock 2, Bayonetta, etc. all set to keep us broke into the new decade.
Capcom has also released a new trailer for Dark Void, as they are showing off a playable demo for attendees at this year’s GamesCom in Cologne as we speak. Is it just us, or is that voiceover actor trying way too hard? Thank goodness this is simply a trailer.
