It’s been barely two days since SCE CEO Kaz Hirai officially confirmed the existence of the long-awaited PlayStation 3 Slim and it has already conquered online retailer Amazon’s sales charts, according to Gamasutra. The ever-increasing number of pre-orders for Sony’s new SKU has prompted Amazon to warn consumers of “shortages across the U.S.” and will now limit purchases of the Slim to just one console per household. The announcement of the PS3 Slim has been a godsend for Amazon, which reported last month of falling profits due to lagging videogame and console sales in the summer. Uh yeah, we get the feeling they’re gonna be just fine.

I just wanted to let you know that one online retailer still has the PS3 Slim still in stock. You can find it on AllAmericanDirect.com: http://www.allamericandirect.com/sony-playstation-3-120gb-game-console-98017.html/?cid=400604.
