After announcing the game almost over 2 years ago, ArenaNet finally threw us a bone with a trailer of the much anticipated sequel to the subscription-less MMORPG Guild Wars. The Guild Wars 2 trailer is a small bone though as it’s mostly concept art that’s sort of animated and accompanied by a fancy fly through of the zones we’ll eventually get to play in. We would have liked to see some actual gameplay footage, but we’ll take what we can get.

Ok maybe we’re being a bit harsh, but we do want more, much more. The trailer does a great job of introducing the story that will be Guild Wars 2 and the concept art that’s included is nothing short of amazing. While the in-game footage that we do get to see is just a fly through of the zones they’re at least  gorgeous. The best part of the trailer comes at the end, so make sure you watch it all the way through, you won’t be disappointed. The trailer did what I’m sure it set out to do, made us very excited for Guild Wars 2 which we have been waiting patiently for since it was first announced back in 2007.
