Sony’s motion controller to be used next Spring
BY Jonathan Redaja Aug. 24th, 2009 More on:

Sony’s motion controller hasn’t really been taking notice since its debut at E3. There hasn’t been much information on anyone or anything developing for it, strangely. Nonetheless, Sony is planning to release the controller in the Spring.

In an interview with The Times, Sony’s Kaz Hirai spoke with them about a few things, including the new PS3, thoughts about Sony’s current status, and for us, the motion controller’s expected release, “We are slating it for spring of next year. One of the things is that we just don’t want to put out the controller. We need a great software that supports the controller at launch. It’s something that we’ve been working on for the longest time,” he said.

At least it looks like they have something in store for the controller/peripheral/suspicious-object if/when it releases in the Spring. Makes one wonder ‘what’ is being made though.

Perhaps we’ll know once Tokyo Game Show starts as Sony has said they’ll be showing off the controller there next month.
