Look out cheaters, Borderlands is coming to get ya! Such is the message Borderlands developer Gearbox Software’s CEO Randy Pitchford gave in a recent interview when asked what the company has planned for online cheaters. “We’re going to wait and see what the cheaters do, and then we’ll attack them,” Pitchford said (in my mind with his best W impersonation). “It’s the only way to fight them, they’ll be there no matter what we do. The console versions are a safer space, obviously…and you can play split-screen!”
The much drooled upon lovechild of the FPS and RPG genres will be out this October on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, with downloadable content expected to follow a bit later.

Does this mean they’ll enter the game like agents from the Matrix, or show up at their door with head knockers? Cause both of those are awesome.

They’ll probably just poison our water supplies and be done with it…
