Batman: Arkham Asylum has been on everybody’s minds, mouths and fingertips these last couple of days. Critics rejoice themselves in reviewing a fantastic game and developer Rocksteady couldn’t be more pleased of the praise they’re reading about, all over the place.
The latest game featuring the caped crusader has only been available for a few days but has already managed to receive a Guinness World Record for “the most critically-acclaimed super hero videogame ever.” The award is based on values taken from Metacritic, which at the moment of writing this story is at 91/100 based on 37 and 28 reviews on Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively. Needless to say, this is an amazing achievement considering it involves a super hero, something that usually has “disaster” written all over it.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is now available on PC (US only), Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
