1UP came back from the “Feel Bayonetta” event in Roppongi, Tokyo where gamers could get hands-on with both the 360 and PS3 versions of Bayonetta and they came back with some bad news for PS3 owners. Up until now, Platinum Games has been showing off Bayonetta solely on the Xbox 360 platform. Platinum Games unveiled a playable PS3 demo for the first time at “Feel Bayonetta” and first impressions were less than stellar. According to 1UP, the PS3 version was “very blurry and the framerate was all over the place.” Apparently, slaying demons with a skin-tight hair suit doesn’t play nice with the Sony platform.

Platinum Games has promised that both versions of the game will be identical, so we’ll just have to assume that this is still an early build of the PS3 version. Hopefully, they’ll find time to polish the game before its release in 2010. For now, it seems that the PS3’s notoriously difficult development platform is causing troubles for yet another title.
