Dragon Rising perfect for four-man co-op, Codies say
BY Rain Anderson Sep. 1st, 2009 More on:

In the video above Codemasters is demonstrating why they think a four-man team makes for a good cooperative experience in the upcoming Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. The game’s executive producer, Sion Lenton, even goes as far as to say that playing the game with three buddies is “the ultimate OFP:DR experience. The nature and freedom of the game lends itself perfectly to the spirit of co-op play,” Lenton says, “especially as human players explore avenues that the AI won’t always.”

The entire single-player campaign as well as individual missions can be played cooperatively, with the host taking the role of team leader to issue commands while other players can choose between different roles to fill (medic, rifleman etc).

The game’s out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in just over a month now — October 6th in the US, 8th in PAL territories and 9th in the UK.
