The God of War Collection is coming this year, awesome. Finally, after being disappointed at myself for picking up the one PS3 SKU that didn’t have backwards compatability — effectively stopping me from playing the God of War games — I get to step into Kratos’ sandals and see what the big deal is in all its remastered, anti-aliased, HD glory no less. But, uh-oh. Wait a minute.. What’s this? The collection won’t make it into Europe this year?
“We are currently looking into options to bring God of War I and II to SCEE consumers on PS3; however it will not be possible to release the games this calendar year,” a rep said.
