Old Republic gets Steamy
BY Chris Barraclough Sep. 6th, 2009 More on:

Star Wars-themed RPG heavyweight Knights of the Old Republic can now be downloaded via Steam and Direct2Drive. The price tag is a very reasonable $10 in the US, or £6.99 in the UK, which should work out at around 20 cents per hour of gameplay. Bargainous.

The BioWare-developed title originally came out just over six years ago, and was followed by a sequel developed by Obsidian Entertainment. If there’s still anyone out there who hasn’t played the first game, your excuses for not picking up a copy are rapidly depleting. Here’s hoping number two makes an appearance soon too.

I have literally NO idea where my copy of this is. I guess Steam just suckered me into another purchase, if only to mayhap try out some of the cool mods available.. luckily I still have my kotor 2 copy right in front of me.. but I haven’t had the time to mod that one yet Z.z
