..a contest to design or name a weapon in Monster Hunter Tri. No, that’s it. No Monster Hunter Freedom 3 announcement for the PSP, which is what most were expecting and waiting for.

Capcom is now accepting entries of either drawing of a new weapon to put into the western versions of Monster Hunter Tri, or for those lacking in artistic skills, a name for an existing weapon. All drawings and names must be for a weapon in one of the weapon groups that exist in the game. Oh right, and the contest is only open to those in the PAL regions, at least for now.

As excited as I am for the western release of Monster Hunter Tri, this announcement is quite underwhelming.  A definitive release date would have been nice!
