Update: Eurogamer is now reporting that they’ve received information from a trusted retailer who says the 250GB unit will arrive in October as part of three console-plus-game bundles. Each bundle will be going for £299.99 and come with either Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Assassin’s Creed II, or Gran Turismo 5.
Original story: Eurogamer is reporting that Sony will introduce a 250GB PS3 Slim as soon as next month.
The console is said to be bundled with the upcoming FIFA 10 title, which we all know is notoriously popular in Europe, and is to be exclusive to GAME. The 250GB bundle is believed to cost €350 (£307).
Since its official release, the PS3 Slim has boosted PS3 sales by 999% and pushed over 40,000 units in its first week in the UK alone. With sales like this in Europe and with this 250GB Slim bundle with FIFA 10 likely to come out, seems like things are only going to get better for Sony.
Sony Europe has declined to comment, so we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement for confirmation. But if it’s anything like the leaked PS3 Slim situation we had earlier this year, it’s probably a safe bet that it’s true.

well, It’s neat, even if already picked up a Slim three weeks ago… Not even disapointed, i’ll buy a bigger hard drive in the years to come for a cheap price to replace my 120 gigs when it will be full.

i’ve yet to do mine on my old 40gb ps3. for some reason i always end up spending the money i have for one in other things. :)
