Bethesda has slipped over a note notifying us of the release date they’ve pinned on the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3. The mammoth RPG with all five pieces of downloadable content will be released next month, on October 13, on all PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 (packshot below).
The PS3 version of the game also got an update through PSN today that adds Trophy support for the DLC, includes some optimizations and “addresses a number of issues.” The PS3 DLC itself will begin dropping next Thursday when Broken Steel is released, followed by Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt on October 1st, and finally Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta on October 8th. A busy time to be a PS3-owning Fallout fan.

Yet to play it at all. Yes, my head is hung in shame.
