Nintendo downloads for the week of Sept. 21
BY Matthew Razak Sep. 21st, 2009 More on:

At first glance this looks to be yet another disappointing week for the world of downloading stuff onto Nintendo gaming systems, but wait, there might be a ray of hope. While the DSi still sucks balls with two craptacular downloads in the form of Clubhouse Games Express: Strategy Pack (Nintendo, Players: 1-8, E, 500 Nintendo DSi Points) and MySims Camera (Electronic Arts, Players: 1, 200 Nintendo DSi Points), the latter of which is simply a photo overlay toy, the other two download services are looking a little brighter.

WiiWare delivers unto us some not so goodness with Family Tennis (Aksys Games, Players: 1-4, E - Comic Mischief, Mild Suggestive Themes, 500 Wii Points), but then brings forth an interesting puzzle game that sounds like it could only be possible on the Wii. You, Me, and the Cubes (Nintendo, Players: 1-2, E - Comic Mischief, 1,000 Wii Points) has players creating small people in their controller by shaking it and then launching them onto floating cubes with a toss. If your toss is solid then they’ll stay, if not they’ll fall. Each level consists of getting the right amount of people to balance on the right amount of cubes. It sounds devilishly clever.

Finally, the VC drops Last Ninja 2 (Commodore 64, Commodore Gaming, Players: 1, E10+ - Mild Violence, 500 Wii Points), which is a game no one has been looking for and even less people will download. Still, it involves ninjas so I’m calling it a win.
