Valve’s Chet Faliszek told TVGB at PAX that the company is always keeping its eyes and ears open for the next potential Portal. When asked if the company has crossed paths with an interesting concept and if there’s anything on the horizon, Faliszek said, “We’re always playing games, we’re always talking to developers and students and always looking out for stuff. Can’t comment on anything in the future but we do continue that, we talk with guys all the time.”
Bringing Audiosurf and World of Goo as examples, Faliszek said, “There’s always people doing really cool stuff and you know we definitely.. we play games ourselves all the time, we’re looking, we’re always talking with people.”

As they should. I doubt there are many well respected companies out there who’d throw their weight behind a concept like Portal. Valve FTW!
