Sony has finally announced a release date for the long awaited Gran Turismo 5. March 2010 is the date to look forward to, that is if you live in Japan as that’s the only place it’s been dated for thus far.

The announcement came during a SCEJ press event at the Tokyo Game Show. The game is still months away, and possibly even more months away from a Western release. GT fans have waited this long already, so what’s a few more months, eh?
