Making older games work with Natal via updates a no go

While one of the first games Microsoft used to demonstrate the capabilities of Project Natal with was Burnout Paradise, making older gamers work with Natal is a bit of a hassle, Microsoft Game Studio’s creative director Kudo Tsunoda told Dtoid at TGS.

Making an older game compatible with Natal requires a lot of code to be altered, Tsunoda says, which pretty much eliminates the option of patching them through Xbox Live. Like the motion controller enabled Director’s Cut of Resident Evil 5 for the PS3 however, re-releasing a game with Natal controls is entirely plausible.

Natal-enabled re-releases through Games on Demand, perhaps?
