Ubisoft producer Alexandre Parizeau had one or two things to say about the multiplayer modes in Sam Fisher’s upcoming iteration in the Splinter Cell franchise, Splinter Cell Conviction, when talking to CVG. In actuality, he had only one thing to say, he just went about it in different ways.
Said Parizeau: ”We’re going to have multiplayer, but we’re not announcing what we’re doing until a little later,” and ”it will be announced very shortly,” and “multiplayer we’re going to talk about soon.”
Later, shortly and soon. We virtually have no more words to express how momentarily this announcement will be made, as compared to the game’s release date, which fortunately, has been given.

Awesome! Can’t wait to see what they did this time. I hope Spies vs. Mercs has remained as the core gameplay.

I’m cautious. Both the single and multiplayer peaked in Chaos Theory. I’m afraid that in the need to do something different they’ll mess it up completely. The fast auto shootings in the single-player videos are already getting really old.
