As we near ourselves to the release of the most anticipated game of the year - or arguably, of all time - Infinity Ward expressed via a tweet, in reply to a question, that plans for releasing a demo of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 before its launch do not exist. Within the 140 characters they’re allowed to type into a message, they’ve managed to squeeze in that the developer team is solely focused on polishing the game and getting it ready for launch.

Who, having played previous iterations, would ever feel compelled to try out the game before buying it, we wonder? Is there any need for it? Most of the time, yes. But this time… really?
