Maybe a foreign studio should re-make Metal Gear, says Kojima |

When asked about a possible re-make of the original Metal Gear game in an interview with Kotaku last week, Kojima responded saying that he was too busy, but it may “be good if a foreign production team even did it.”
“It doesn’t have to be me who makes it,” he said, noting he may not enough years in his life to get to it. “I made it a long time ago. It could be somebody young that maybe has more abilities than I do….It would even be good if a foreign production team even did it.”
So, a foreign developer re-making the original Metal Gear, huh? Hard to even imagine anyone else but Kojima working on it, but if it had to be done, who should do it? Let us know in the comments.

Just saying that cause he’s tired of making MGS games. Personally, I’d rather a Western studio did his work for him.. cause I can’t stand all the crappy translations. The longwinded speeches or even the mannerism just doesn’t translate well. Which is a shame considering the many awesome stealth ideas and missions and whatnot.

I think it might be dope to have a western studio work on a re-make of MGS, as well. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully, if someone does do it, they won’t screw it up either.

Meh, I’d rather they left this one untouched.

Yoshinori Kitase. I know he’s not foreign. I know they possibly hate eachother because of the competition crap. But that guy is a really good storyteller. I mean c’mon: FF7! You gotta give him props!
