October is turning out to be a pretty sweet month if you’re into trippy downloadable games. Lucidity is dropping Oct. 7th, and now 2K Games has announced that Axel & Pixel won’t be far behind with its October 14th release on Xbox Live Arcade. Axel & Pixel is a point ‘n click adventure game from a small Czech developer by the name of Silver Wish Games where players will assume the role of a painter named Axel who, along with his dog Pixel, will traverse through a pretty distinct looking game world as shown in the trailer above.

No word on pricing yet, but a good way to peak my interest in a game is to have it look like nothing else I’ve ever played before, and Axel & Pixel certainly does that.
