Ezio’s “Assassination Arsenal” is Leonardo da Vinci’s art
BY Rangebar Merani Oct. 7th, 2009 More on:

With the help of genius inventor Leonardo da Vinci, Ezio is given a complete arsenal of weapons to assassinate each and every one of his targets in Assassin’s Creed II. In the above “Assassination Arsenal” video, da Vinci is able to create a variety of different weapons for Ezio including the hidden blade, double hidden blade, poison blade and even a hidden gun. Talking about having something up your sleeve, huh? Ok, that was bad..

The video also shows what seems to be Ezio bringing items or broken weapons he finds to da Vinci so that he could repair them and fix him up something fancy. Could there be more weapons for da Vinci to create for Ezio then what has been showed? Lets hope so. Prepare for plenty of back-stabbin’ and blood spillin’ action when Assassin’s Creed II hits stores on November 17th in the US and November 20th in Europe for the 360 and PS3, and in early 2010 for PC.

Ya know, it might look more of the same but give it a chance. I think it’ll be much more than what the original had to offer. I hope so at least :P

Given what Ubisoft has said about Assassins Creed 2, I believe that they will eliminate many of the mistakes that they made with the previous title add some new interesting ides while at the same time expanding greatly at what was shown to work before. From what I’ve see and read about this game, Ubisoft is looking to knock it out of the ball park with this one. Lets hope they manage to keep the game interesting all the way to the end this time.

Yes, they do keep saying “we’ve done this” and “we’ve done that” but at the same time they’re not showing much new. New weapons, cool. The glider, cool. But that’s it. Everything else is more of the same under different pretenses.

I want to like it as I did enjoy the first game until it got super repetitive. But the PR they’re doing is giving me a strong case of deja vu and 90% of the “new” just sounds like complete BS. Remember how the first game supposedly had elements of an RPG? Yeah, marketing (read: full out lying) at its best.
