Are you ready for some shocking news? I own an iPhone and I am not a douchebag. Amazing, I know, but it is the truth. Having played some of the games available for the device, I am more than a little flustered at the quality that is available. Enter EA to attempt to save the day with a little Rock Band for the iPhone and iPod touch.
The game will be out this month and ships with 20 songs with more will be available through the in-game Music Store. “Check out the in-game Music Store to purchase additional tracks from OK Go, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Lenny Kravitz, Social Distortion, Devo, and more!,” EA Mobile’s Facebook page reads. I love me some Rock Band, but the price point is going to determine if this is a purchase for me or not.

I have never played Rock Band but I assume this version will be somewhat similar to the Tap Tap games that are available. Also pretty sure they will try to nickel and dime us with exclusive downloadable content.
