With the ever-growing list of delays, we couldn’t be more excited about our favorite RPS Borderlands having reached gold status today. The game is ready for mass production, but most importantly, it means that it’s on track for its scheduled October 26th release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford, just recently updated his Twitter with a nice, comforting tweet, stating that Borderlands has gone gold on all platforms and we’re all safe to pre-order the game… like we haven’t done so already, Mr. Pitchford.
