You know Europe got the new LostWinds this week. I hate you Europe. North American downloads are looking a little less stellar, shall we say. Let’s start with WiiWare since that’s the one that is the most disappointing since it is not LostWinds. Gravitronix (Medaverse Studios, Players: 1-8, E, 500 Wii Points) is some sort of odd arena battle game where players use different weapons to attack each other from different sides of a circle. It’s a little hard to tell what’s going on, but it doesn’t look that great.

The VC on the other hand is a bit more exciting with the release of Final Fight 2 (Super NES, Capcom USA, Players: 1-2, E10+ – Violence, 800 Wii Points), which is actually one of the better classic games we’ve seen in a while. The chance to pummel faces in hot beat-em’-up action is always fun. Finally, DSiWare rounds out the week with Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon (Nintendo, Players: 1, E – Comic Mischief, 500 Nintendo DSi Points). Yes, pinball. Try not to get too excited, now.
