Valve has just dated the Left 4 Dead 2 demo — those who pre-order the game either from participating retailers or through Steam get it on October 27 while the rest can grab it starting November 17.
The demo gives zombie killers a bit of The Parish campaign to play around in, and will be out for both the PC and Xbox 360. The 360 version will bring 2-player split-screen play.
Surprisingly, the demo features all new boss infected and all the melee weapons.
