Lead designer Patrick Dwyer believes that Tony Hawk Ride will give players as much value for their $120 as they want to have. It’s all in how much time you’re willing you invest, he says.
“The one thing about replayability for this game is, you’re learning the skill,” Dwyer told VideoGamer. “Every day you play this game, you put in an hour or invest two hours, how much time you invest in it, that’s how much time you’re going to get out of it. It’s not like you play this game and it’s done in eight hours, or it’s done in 30 or 60 or whatever. It’s done whenever you feel you’ve mastered it.”
Can’t the same thing be said for any and all games, though?
