The Japanese must really love that sexy librarian look because Famitsu magazine has given Bayonetta a perfect 40/40 score in their Oct. 20 issue. Bayonetta joins a very short list of “perfect” games and is the first Xbox 360 title to get that elusive 40/40.
Previous titles to receive perfect scores from Famitsu include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Nintendogs. For anyone who is still on the fence about getting Bayonetta, the fact that it’s at least as good as Nintendogs should sway your opinion.

That might be a bit of an exaggeration from Famitsu part. I played the PS3 Japanese demo and it’s pretty much like DMC4. To top it off the demo had slowdowns and glitches. EX: In the train, her hair is free floating inside the bench. Thats a bit lame.
