The wait for Conviction to be worth it, Ubisoft boss says
BY Rain Anderson Oct. 22nd, 2009 More on:

Ubisoft Montreal CEO Yannis Mallat promises the wait for the long-overdue next Splinter Cell game, Splinter Cell: Conviction, to be well worth it.

“… Splinter Cell: Conviction will be a better game in February than any time earlier,” Mallat told VideoGamer in an interview just before giving PS3 owners some hope. “The level of polish that we are achieving as we speak is definitely worth the wait. You know Ubisoft is committed to quality. We apply that to all our games. Splinter Cell is not excluded from that.”

After 3+ years of development, being delayed in late July following its E3 reveal, Conviction was recently dated for a solid February 23 release on the PC and Xbox 360.
