A rumor is currently doing the rounds that an updated Goldeneye title could be on its way to the Wii. First spotted by Superannuation, the title is listed in animator Craig Peck’s online CV (since taken down) as a project he worked on this summer.
According to the CV, Peck assisted in, “Key frame animation, the preparation and clean-up of motion capture data, prop animation, in-game cut-scene animation, scene layout, and camera animation” for “GoldenEye 2010 (Wii),” before joining L.A. Noire developers Team Bondi.
The company Peck did this for is Eurocom, the people responsible for porting Treyarch’s Quantum of Solace to Wii last year. Seeing as the latest Bond game in development is a racer from Bizzarre Creations, we doubt that this is another port. All of which points to a new title that cunningly tugs on the nostalgia-strings of N64 Goldeneye-loving fans everywhere.
