Call of Juarez gets patched, balanced
BY Rain Anderson Oct. 29th, 2009 More on:

A patch for the console versions of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is now available, Ubisoft has announced. Besides reducing checkpoint load times specifically on the PS3 version, the patch improves the quality of connections on both the PS3 and 360 versions and does a much needed balancing act (details below) on some of the multiplayer classes.

Now if only they’d make the additional multiplayer maps they released a while ago available for free maybe more people could be convinced to actually play this breath of fresh of a game air online. There are two more pieces of DLC expected — one single-player, one multiplayer — expected in the unspecified future as well. Needless to say rethinking the pricing strategy should probably be a priority.

Class changes:
Spy: damage increased; health increased;
Gunslinger: recoil reduced; accuracy improved;
Hombre: recoil and reload time increased; damage at long range significantly reduced;
Veteran: health and accuracy decreased; additional pistols removed;
Sniper: no-scope accuracy and damage significantly reduced; health decreased; sidearm Ranger swapped for Classic Gun
