The first downloadable content for Brütal Legend is out today on Live and, naturally, mastermind Tim Schafer can’t let this event come to pass without putting together a promotional video as only he can.

The almost eight minutes of footage above takes place on Death’s Fjord, one of the two new maps in the upcoming Tears of the Hextadon DLC, and has Schafer acting as a commentator while two of Double Fine’s finest face off, also acting as a respectable intro to the amount of fun that can be had beyond the game’s single-player campaign.

Tears of the Hextadon’s going live on Xbox Live today for 400 MS Points and PSN on Thursday, where it will remain free for two weeks.
