If we devoted a post to every cool videogame-inspired photo shoot, we’d have to change our name to ThatVideoGameAndCosplayBlog, which doesn’t really roll off the tongue. But this series of photos inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess does give us serious pause.
“I knew I wanted to be Princess Zelda when I played the original Legend of Zelda game back on Nintendo in 1987,” writes cosplayer Lillyxandra, pictured posing above with “the best Link cosplayer” Pikminlink. “It took me 18 years but I finally got around to it.”
Lillyxandra was inspired by illustrator Yusuke Nakano more mature character designs for Twilight Princess, the first game in series to receive a T rating from the ESRB. “The designs are saturated in details for these grown up classic characters,” she writes, “I was feeling ambitious.”
