You probably wouldn’t know it unless someone told you, but this is apparently a trailer for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. I’ll give them points for originality for sure, as I’ve never seen a trailer made to look like security cam footage from a Chinese restaurant. It’s hard to tell, but the guy who is getting mauled by the dog is sporting Lynch’s hairdo from the first game. I’m also pretty sure they’re naked.

The first game was enjoyable for what it is. It wasn’t mind blowing, but it was serviceable and I enjoyed the incredibly dark mood the game set up. I don’t think it warranted the heat it got from the gaming community, as that was probably more due to who the game got fired rather then the game itself. I’ll be intrigued to see what direction IO Interactive takes the series.
