NFS Shift shifts 2.5 million
BY Rain Anderson Nov. 9th, 2009 More on:

EA is releasing their Q2 results today and within come lots of interesting tidbits of news, as these things always do. Among them are the sales numbers for Need for Speed: Shift, which has proven to do quite well for the company — 2.5 million copies sold and counting kind of well.

Along with FIFA 10, Madden NFL 10, The Beatles: Rock Band, and NCAA Football 10, Shift was a game that contributed to numbers that led to above street expectation sales for the company.

Last month we also learned that Shift was the title that pushed the Need for Speed franchise over the 100 million mark.

I bought Need for Speed: Shift because playing the demo was incredibly fun. Best game you have put out the year EA!

Best NFS game, but the physics are lousy. Traded it in minutes after I got Platinum.
