Final Fantasy XIII for NA, EU almost finished
BY Rain Anderson Nov. 10th, 2009 More on:

Square Enix President Yoichi Wada says the company is almost done with the North American and European versions of Final Fantasy XIII, both of which are due out next year.

“We’ve completed the master of the Japanese version, and for the US and European versions we’re just adding the final touches. The last stage of development has gone very smoothly this time,” he said in a recent interview, later adding that the RPG is the company’s biggest development to date, “which isn’t necessarily a good thing.”

The game will launch in Japan next month, on December 17, exclusively on the PlayStation 3, with the North American and European versions expected in Spring 2010 for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. If speculation has its way, the release dates should be announced soon.
