Facebook, Twitter, more arrive on Xbox 360 next Tuesday
BY Rain Anderson Nov. 12th, 2009 More on:

Xbox 360 will be getting a bit more social starting next Tuesday, November 17, as that’s when the fall update bringing Facebook and Twitter functionality will hit the system, Microsoft has announced today. Also arriving are Last.fm, Zune video, and a new “News and More” section — bringing news from MSNBC, The New Yorker and Dilbert — in the Inside Xbox channel which MS says will transform Xbox Live “into a full-fledged media portal.”

The services will be available to Xbox Live Gold members only, but Silver users (must be 18+ for Facebook and Twitter) can get a taste of the new functionality from next Fri-Sun when another Free Gold Weekend takes place.
