Deus Ex 3 getting Final Fantasy-quality cinematics
BY Rain Anderson Nov. 24th, 2009 More on:

Square Enix’s developers in Tokyo and the recently acquired Eidos, now branded as Square Enix Europe, have found their first project to cooperate on — Deus Ex 3. Eidos Montreal’s general manager Stephane D’Astous says the sci-fi sequel is going to be “the first project which will be a concrete product of joint effort between Square Enix and Eidos.”

“The cinematics—by which I mean any CGI pre-rendered cinematics — are going to be done in Tokyo by Square Enix, and that’s going to be amazing,” D’Astous told Edge. “The people in Tokyo are just so glad to work on it; this is the first project for them that’s a non-Final Fantasy title”.

So, 14-minute Deus Ex 3 trailers, confirmed? And maybe more, “… they even want to work on Thief 4 too, so everyone is really excited.”

Christ, i hope they don’t fuck this game up. I can already see the GCI intro now with erogenously designed teens wearing brightly colored clothes wielding gigantic swords.
