Hot news from Geoff Keighley’s itchy Twitter finger! There’s a new Star Wars game coming and it will be announced at next month’s Spike TV Video Game Awards. There’s even a (kinda crappy) teaser trailer.

As the build up to videogames’ glitziest awards show gathers apace, Gametrailers TV host Keighley is teasing us all over the place. First came the announcement that a Halo: Reach trailer — complete with non-CG footage — will be shown at this year’s VGAs and now this, a brand new Star Wars game.

Beyond that we know pretty much nothing, with the teaser above hardly helping matters. It’s just footage from old Star Wars games unfortunately. Now, it might have something to do with LucasArts recent job ads for “top secret projects” - but that’s just speculation. We’ll all just have to wait for the VGAs on Dec. 12.
