Final Fantasy XIII Japanese back cover possibly leaked
BY Jarrod Johnston Nov. 27th, 2009 More on:

To the untrained eye, the possible leak of the Final Fantasy XIII Japanese back cover below doesn’t even register as a blip on the radar, but you can actually discover a wealth of information from such things. Like I’ve said before, I can no longer read or speak Japanese, but thanks to the power of the internet, someone else can do that for me! If the box is to be believed, then the game will have a LPCM 5.1 mix and while the game itself only runs in 720p, those trademark Square Enix cinematics will display in full 1080p. The final and juiciest tidbit of info is that the PS3 version of the game will have no mandatory or optional install, which is good news to anyone who currently has only a few gigs of space left due to copious amounts of game installs over the years.

Everything you just read is still unconfirmed though, so it’s best to wait until either Squeenix says something or until the game is released in Japan on December 17th before everyone starts singing hallelujah over the lack of a install.
