Assassin’s Creed II will be getting its first two pieces of downloadable content in the early months of 2010, Ubisoft announced today. Or maybe “pieces” is the wrong thing to call them — the minimum requirement of 1GB space required for each of them seems to indicate they’ll be rather sizeable chunks.
The first DLC, titled Battle of Forli, will arrive in January and the second, Bonfire of the Vanities, joins it in February. No exact dates or prices have been mentioned, though they will in all likelyhood cost something as Ubi says the price is ‘to be announced’.
The console versions of the game have been out for a few weeks now and appear to be be doing pretty well, selling over 1.6 million units worldwide in week one, being second only to Modern Warfare 2 and all. The PC version will launch in Q1 2010.
